I think he felt like his hands were tied as far as giving us a resolution. After 24 hrs one dropped out again (the other is still working today) and I called again and thatвЂ™s when I got the 2nd tech who had no boxes on his truck because he said they had been through so many of them trying to get them to work at other customers houses. The tech came out and and checked everything out, we swapped cables and tvs both with both non working boxes and could not get either to work, so they had two more in their truck and set them both up and they both workedвЂ¦. that was then when I called the first time and had a tech come out. so itвЂ™s possible I didnвЂ™t have it set up exactly right when I first triedвЂ¦.

With the first two boxes that were mailed to us for the transition - neither worked on either tv at first, but then I finally did get one to work for about 24 hrs after doing many box and tv resets and power offs ectвЂ¦ plus I had a brand new tv. Please,вЂ¦ someone from astound reach out to meвЂ¦how do we get a working box? Please keep in mind none of the new iptv boxes sent to your customers in this area workвЂ¦ itвЂ™s not just me. But apparently вЂ¦ thatвЂ™s too much to ask? I dunno the transition here in Evansville has been and continued to be awful. A solution would be a working iptv box from astound. He said heвЂ™s been telling people to go buy fire sticks and use themвЂ¦that is not a solution. He said they have been given no fix and have not been instructed what to do for the customers. The tech straight told us вЂњyea everyone in this market with iptv is having the hdmi not permitted issueвЂќ he went on to say other astound markets do not have this issue, the issue is only in our market. he said he had no more iptv boxes because they have been going through so many of them because none of them work. Called astound again, another tech came out. One ended up working and still works, th4 other only worked for 24 hrs. astound finally did come out and replace both iptv boxes with new ones.
